I am fascinated by the hidden world of microscopic life that comes alive with beautiful patterns and texture not seen with normal vision. My medium is ceramics and I translate my designs by using traditional hand building and casting techniques to form porcelain sculptures. Through my technique of layering and the addition of texture and colour I emphasise those patterns and irregularities. Each form is unique and when placed in a collection, they interact with each other through shape, light and shadow.
